Well what I thought was going to be stressful was not that stressful at all . Moving houses isn’t something I thought I would ever do again! But once I saw the lovely town homes over looking the lake I changed my mind . Our journey with Joanne being our realtor started with our daughter moving , and let me tell you that Joanne Hughes went over and above what she was supposed to do as a realtor . I sold my house last year with the help of a very knowledgeable real estate agent, Joanne Hughes from Chase Realty Inc. My plan was to do some renovations before I put it on the market so as to get the best price possible. I was very lucky to get an amazing contractor to do the work. When I told Joanne of my plans she was very supportive and offered her help in any way she could. I am not a decorator and had no idea as to where to start. Joanne made all the right choices from lighting fixtures to having a little landscaping done to the front of the house which would increase “Curb appeal”. Long before the house was ready to sell she kept me informed as to what real estate in my area was being listed for and what houses actually sold for so that I could decide what price to set. She even put on the finishing touches with setting up the bathroom with hand towels and providing an outdoor welcome mat for the front door, she thought of everything. The for sale sign was put up on a Tuesday and the open house was set for Sunday. I got an offer by Friday and the house was sold by Saturday night. The process of someone making an offer and counter offer requires a ton of paper work which boggles the mind, Joanne was right on the ball with everything and her advice and professionalism was exemplary.
